Roman Reigns has joined forces with Paul Heyman on WWE SmackDown, and Friday nights will never be the same.

Two years ago before SummerSlam 2018, wrestling fans were wondering if Paul Heyman could potentially betray then-Universal Champion Brock Lesnar and align himself with Roman Reigns. At the time, it was seen as a pipe dream and never materialized. But in August 2020, Reigns and Heyman have formed the impossible dream team on WWE SmackDown.

The Aug. 28 episode of WWE SmackDown began with Vince McMahon urging Adam Pearce to personally hunt down the signatures of Payback’s Universal Title competitors Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, and Bray Wyatt. Of those three wrestlers, Pearce had a difficult time tracking down Reigns, as the Big Dog was not responding to the WWE producer’s knocks.

We later found out why. Pearce finally caught up with Reigns in his room, and Reigns gave the ominous Heyman line, “It’s not a prediction, it’s a spoiler” in reference to winning back the Universal Title at Payback.

Then the camera panned to the right, and we saw the Advocate himself sitting side-by-side with WWE SmackDown’s top star.

Who saw that coming?

Here are three burning questions to answer now that Heyman and Reigns are on the same team.
