Grade: A-, Big E is a TANK! What a match! Show-stealer. Push this guy. Push him more! Big E for Universal Champion! Big E for WWE Champion! Big E for the main event of WrestleMania!
Big E had control of Sheamus in the early stages of the match, but Sheamus regained offense with an Irish Curse Backbreaker and a Half-Legged Boston Crab. Big E rallied back with two Belly to Belly Suplexes and delivered a Uranage Slam. Sheamus countered with a Battering Ram and Alabama Slam to Big E for the nearfall.
Sheamus locked the Cloverleaf Submission maneuver but Big E made his way to the ropes. Big E delivered a spectacular Spear to Sheamus through the ropes. He attempted the Big Ending, but Sheamus locked in the Knee Bar. Big E escaped the submission with a flurry of punches. Sheamus keeps Big E down with a forceful knee strike.
Sheamus attempted the Brogue Kick, but Big E countered with the Powerbomb and a Big Ending for the pinfall and the victory. Big E continues to prove that he is the main eventer that the WWE Universe always wanted but never deserved. There’s hope that his push has an end goal of sorts or a ‘big ending.’
