AEW World Championship Match (Paradigm Shift is banned): Jon Moxley (c) vs. MJF

Finally, we have the main event of AEW All Out 2020 as Jon Moxley defends the AEW World Championship against Maxwell Jacob Friedman. As AEW All Out continued to near, this contest began to seem inevitable as MJF has managed to remain undefeated in singles competition.

Meanwhile, Jon Moxley is truly undefeated in AEW. The only losses he’s suffered since leaving WWE last year have come during his tenure with NJPW, where he is still the reigning IWGP US Heavyweight Champion. Now, Moxley comes up against an altogether different challenge.

Moxley has torn through Jake Hager, Mr. Brodie Lee, Brian Cage, and Darby Allin in championship defenses, but MJF has come at things from an entirely different angle. Rather than trying to come at this and out-power Moxley or out-devastate him, MJF is trying to outsmart the reigning champion and weasel his way into the AEW World Title.

After a recent attack by Moxley, MJF has taken to using a walker and wearing a neck brace on AEW Dynamite to show just how “dangerous” Moxley’s signature Paradigm Shift can be. He insists the danger is so great that the move must be banned during their match at AEW All Out 2020.

MJF had his lawyer draw up a contract this week on AEW Dynamite which stipulated the move would be banned during their match at AEW All Out, and Moxley was kind enough to sign it. Of course, Moxley did slip in a clause that he gets to face MJF’s lawyer this coming week on AEW Dynamite.

After having the fun of destroying Mark Sterling on AEW Dynamite, Moxley will turn his focus to MJF and the many non-Paradigm Shift ways he can hurt him. While I expect MJF’s tactics to help him throughout this contest, I think attempted interference by Wardlow will backfire and cost him the match.

Jon Moxley will retain the AEW World Championship without needing the Paradigm Shift, and MJF will become completely infuriated with Wardlow. Screaming and blaming him for the loss, Wardlow should counter by putting MJF out with a trio of devastating F10s to leave the loudmouth out cold as AEW All Out 2020 comes to a close.

Prediction: Jon Moxley will retain the AEW World Championship
