What are the biggest wrestling rumors after another wild week?

Wrestling is a business of constant evolution and changes, and when this happens, a lot of things change. The first is the story second is the reception to it, and the third is the overall revenue generated by it. A lot of it has to do with how the product caters to the audience. We did see a lot of surprises this week as Kenny Omega was a part of WWE SmackDown audience and The Big Dog is now a Paul Heyman Guy.

It is shocking but appealing because the fans wanted it for a long time and aligning with The Mad Genius can only mean good things for all. While Reigns is phenomenal on the mic, a mind like Heyman can be a value add at any given point in time.

If these things on SmackDown didn’t surprise you, these wrestling rumours will, and we hope to hear your thoughts in the comments. So without further ado, let’s get down to it:

WWE to unmask Retribution

Retribution is similar to Payback, a show that airs tonight on the WWE Network, but this is no coincidence, and the now shelved SmackDown Hacker has got nothing to do with it. Tom Colohue is an expert on wrestling rumours and had this to say on Sportskeeda’s Dropkick DiSKussions, and I quote (getting that Michale Cole feeling):

"“I think it’ll still be a while yet I think we are looking at closer to Survivor Series, at least in and around after the Draft because once you unmask someone, they can then be drafted. But I don’t think they want the visual of RETRIBUTION members being drafted to RAW or SmackDown. So it will definitely be after the Draft.”"

Will WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2020 Be Inducted?

WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2020 never took place due to the ongoing pandemic, but it seems like the company is not willing to let this opportunity slip out of hand.

According to a report by WrestleVotes, WWE is planning to induct the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2020 into their deserving class during the WrestleMania weekend of 2021. It is good news because a lot of deserving superstars from the wrestling business were supposed to take their rightful place until the coronavirus pandemic came along. It resulted in plans altered, but we may see it happen soon.

Tom Colohue just made the list of Wrestling Rumors and this time around to talk about the reason for the end of The Demon King. Fans love this Finn Balor gimmick, but Colohue noted that the first Universal Champion wants to put the avatar to rest to evolve his character and enhance his skills as a performer.

It would be nice to see how Prince Devitt reinvents himself and gives us another reason to fall for his wrestling skills.
