Roman Reigns (c) vs. ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt vs. Goldberg [Universal Championship]
Although it would be preferable if Big E battled Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at WWE WrestleMania 37, it wouldn’t be too surprising if Reigns and Wyatt stretched their feud to WrestleMania 37. However, to juice things up, WWE should make it a triple threat with Goldberg involved.
Goldberg ended Bray Wyatt’s first reign as Universal Champion. Roman Reigns ended Bray Wyatt’s second reign as Universal Champion. The perfect story would be for Wyatt to solidify his nascent babyface run by obtaining redemption and winning this triple threat match against the two superstars who ended his reigns.
Prediction: ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt
‘The Demon’ Finn Balor (c) vs. Karrion Kross [NXT Championship]
Karrion Kross relinquished the NXT Championship due to injury. If he is back by WrestleMania season, he should go one on one with Finn Balor. It would be gnarly to see Kross attempt to win the title he never lost against a superstar who had a similar experience of trying to win back the Universal Championship he never lost on the main roster.
Indeed, Kross and Balor had similar pathways with their short, inhibited championship reigns, which makes the storyline even sweeter. Besides, seeing him go one on one with The Demon is main event material simply because of the mysterious, eerie mesh of gimmicks. Since The Demon should not lose, Balor would have to retain here.
Prediction: ‘The Demon’ Finn Balor
Drew McIntyre (c) vs. John Cena [WWE Championship]
Assuming Drew McIntyre holds onto the WWE Championship until WrestleMania 37, the superstar who should defeat him to become a 17-time WWE Champion is John Cena. Since Mania is in Hollywood, what better place would it be for a Hollywood star to beat Ric Flair’s record? The WWE Universe needs his golden shovel at WWE WrestleMania 37.
Prediction: John Cena
