Sasha Banks vs. Trish Stratus at WWE Evolution 2? Make that happen!

Sasha Banks recently spoke on D-Von Dudley’s “Table Talk” podcast and spoke about her dream opponent at WWE Evolution 2: Trish Stratus. The mere thought of seeing these two square it off in the ring sends a good feeling, and if one remembers well we saw Stratus return last year at SummerSlam in a losing effort to Charlotte Flair.

Trish Stratus has not shown any desire to return to the squared circle, but you ‘Never Say Never’ in the WWE.

The former Raw Women’s Champion also talked about fans anticipation about Evolution 2, but when asked about her dream feud at Evolution 2, she had this to say:

"“If I could choose anybody? Trish Stratus. I would lose my mind. But honestly, there are so many people. I would like to have a match with anybody I have not had a match with before. Trish Stratus was the top of the women’s division of her time. She was the best. She was beautiful. She was athletic and she inspired me. I have a bunch of her stuff. I remember going to the Eddie Guerrero tribute show and she had this pink shirt on and I saw that shirt at a store and I was like, I need that shirt because Trish Stratus had that shirt. Trish Stratus was always the one. When I finally got to meet her and work with her, I fell more in love with her. She is the most amazing beautiful human being I’ve ever met. Not only did she inspire me in the ring, she inspires me for what she does outside of the ring as well.”Credit Table Talk podcast H/T"

We know that The Legit Boss and The Stratusfaction Leader will put on a clinic between the ropes. We have seen them between the ropes at the Women’s Royal Rumble, but it may be a different situation this time, and if would be ‘Best For Business.’

A surprise appearance or a feud with Trish Stratus can and will serve as the perfect way for WWE to raise their ratings and make the anticipated all-women’s show even better. Trish Stratus has inspired the generation of women’s superstars we see today, and the same is evident in the statement by one half the former Women’s Tag Team Champion.

We remember how a match between the returning Bella Twins and Ronda Rousey stole the show at the first presentation of the show. The promo cut by the former Raw Women’s Champion on the returning twin sisters is still the fiercest one in the history of Women’s Evolution in the wrestling business.

Only time will tell if Vince would be looking forward to this idea because we have seen him squash ideas at the last minute, but this time around, make it happen Mr. McMahon because that is ‘Best For Business.’
