Universal Championship Match: Roman Reigns (c) vs. “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt

At WWE Payback, we saw the deadlier than ever Roman Reigns pick his moment to destroy the remains of Braun Strowman and capture the Universal Championship. He did so without actually pinning “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt, who was the reigning champion. This has finally set the path towards a match we should’ve gotten at WrestleMania 36.

Roman Reigns taking on “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt deserves a big stage, and if it can’t get WrestleMania, WWE Royal Rumble 2021 isn’t far off. These two have plenty of history to work with, and very different characters than they’ve had before. This will be on for the ages, and Roman Reigns will be the man to definitively conquer “The Fiend” and retain his title.

Prediction: Roman Reigns retains the Universal Championship

30-Man Royal Rumble Match

Predicting the exact entrants in the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match is a fool’s errand, but there is an indication as to who will come out on top. We can expect most of the rosters to fill this match out, as well as a few surprises and returns that come with the package of the Royal Rumble.

As for the victor, that will be none other than Big E. Currently in the budding stages of his singles run, Big E can continue to gain momentum heading into WWE Royal Rumble 2021 that will make this the biggest victory of his career and set the stage for Roman Reigns to defend the Universal Championship against Big E at WrestleMania 37.

Prediction: Big E wins the 2021 Men’s Royal Rumble

30-Woman Royal Rumble Match

Finally, we have the main event of the evening as 30 women square off in hopes of main eventing WrestleMania 37. Like previous years, we can likely expect some legends to make a surprise appearance and some up and coming NXT talent to join the fight as well.

The 2020 Women’s Royal Rumble saw Charlotte Flair take a huge victory and choose to challenge the NXT Champion, but this year’s winner will be looking for something much more close to home. SmackDown’s own Sasha Banks is the perfect choice to take the win at WWE Royal Rumble 2021, and it sets the stage for a WrestleMania main event that’s years in the making.

Bayley, having captured the SmackDown Women’s Championship earlier the same night, will want Sasha Banks to challenge the Raw Women’s Champion so they can both try and be double champions again. As Banks hesitates to make a decision, Bayley should turn on her in belief Banks aims to choose her, setting the stage for heel Bayley against a face Sasha Banks in the main event of WrestleMania 37.

Prediction: Sasha Banks wins the 2021 Women’s Royal Rumble
