AEW Full Gear 2020: Way too early full match card predictions

TNT Championship Match: Mr. Brodie Lee (c) vs. Orange Cassidy

Surely, the choice of Best Friends vs. Evil Uno and Stu Grayson will make even more sense now, as Orange Cassidy could be in position to challenge Mr. Brodie Lee for the TNT Championship. While The Dark Order’s issues with Cody and friends may have a few final chapters to be written, there’s plenty of time to take care of that in the coming weeks.

Once that moment has passed, Orange Cassidy needs to leverage his victory over Chris Jericho into a championship opportunity. With the line to face Jon Moxley getting a bit crowded, it would be great to see Cassidy challenge for the TNT Championship and potentially even be the man to take the title from him.

FTW Championship Match: Brian Cage (c) vs. Cody

As mentioned before, Cody is still finishing up his issues with Mr. Brodie Lee. Even if he gets some measure of revenge, he’s unlikely to get back the TNT Championship, and that leaves Cody without a purpose heading forward.

Don’t forget that, because of his loss at AEW Full Gear 2019, Cody can never challenge for the AEW World Championship again. Instead, he could turn his attention to the unique FTW Championship around the waist of Brian Cage and try to topple Taz’s behemoth while taking a different kind of gold.
