IMPACT Wrestling has had its fair share of popular and powerful factions

Factions are an important part of any wrestling company, they can be the cornerstone if booked correctly. When fans speak about the greatest factions of all time – they would mention illustrious names like the Fabulous Freebirds, the Four Horseman, the Hart Foundation, the New World Order, D-Generation X, Evolution, the Bullet Club, or the Shield. All of those factions are from promotions not named Impact Wrestling and that does the company a major disservice.

In Impact’s 18 year history – they have had some brilliant factions and some who haven’t been given the recognition they deserve. When the company was at its peak, it was groups that were the highlight of the show, making the product stand out at a time when other’s didn’t have a focus on stables.

The Red Shirt Security, Sports Entertainment Xtreme, 3Live Kru, and the Band are some stables that didn’t leave a lasting impression in the company but many did.
