Roman Reigns will put the Universal Title on the line at WWE Clash of Champions 2020 against his cousin Jey Uso.

Since every title will be defended at WWE Clash of Champions 2020, there will be plenty of storylines for wrestling fans to sink into and predictions to make. But Roman Reigns vs. Jey Uso feels like the most intriguing matchup out of the ones announced so far, since it’s the match fewest fans would have predicted coming out of Payback.

Reigns winning the Universal Title one week after his return at SummerSlam wasn’t a surprise. But Jey Uso taking an injured Big E’s spot in a No. 1 Contender’s match and winning was quite the pleasant surprise.

Roman has made it clear that Jey will get no familial favors from him. How might this title match at Clash of Champions shake out? Here are three possible finishes.

Wreck everyone and leave. That’s what the shirt says. Roman Reigns won the Universal Title at Payback by showing up when the match was nearing its end, wrecking everyone, and leaving with the belt. In a tag match on SmackDown, he did the same thing, leaving Jey Uso to fend for himself before coming in and showing up his cousin by immediately winning with a Spear upon showing up.

Reigns could make a huge statement to both his cousin and the rest of the WWE by squashing Uso at WWE Clash of Champions 2020. Jey is a credible challenger based on his resume as an all-time great tag team wrestler in WWE, but he’s also not known for being a threat in singles competition, let alone to someone like Reigns as the Universal Champion. On a loaded card, a squash is not far-fetched, especially to give Reigns maximum heat.
