Roman Reigns and Jey Uso form a new faction

The Bloodline. That’s the name for the WWE faction featuring Roman Reigns and the Usos, Jimmy and Jey. We haven’t seen a full-on takeover from the Bloodline in WWE, but that could be exactly what Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman have planned after the Big Dog took home the Universal Title at Payback.

Reigns was all calm when he was talking with Jey Uso after winning the title and has been seemingly showing a poker face during the interactions since Jey became the No. 1 Contender. It’s almost as if Reigns and Heyman have been pulling the strings, knowing all along that Jey would get into this position.

My colleague Patches Chance came up with an idea of Jey allowing Reigns to win, but I don’t see it happening. Both men are too proud and would want to show to their familiy member why they are the best and what they are capable of.

The end result will be Reigns winning, but how he wins changes if they build a faction. Though I must admit that it’s not impossible for them to not have a match at all and instead declare the formation of this faction, which would include Jimmy Uso and Naomi.

Having the Bloodline as an entrenched faction would be huge for SmackDown and for Roman. Fans have been wanting to see this for quite some time, too.
