Finn Balor briefly had a Bullet Club stable in WWE when he was with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson on Raw, but he never had anything like AJ Styles’ run.

It’s been wonderful watching Finn Balor find a new character that suits him perfectly on NXT television since returning to the Black and Gold brand in October when the show moved from the WWE Network to the USA Network.

After putting over everyone else, Balor is now the NXT Champion, having defeated Adam Cole in what was essentially a tie-breaker match to pick up the vacated title. Balor’s first rival will be determined on Wednesday night in a Guantlet Eliminator match.

But Balor has more ideas in mind than just his future feuds as he looks to elevate the NXT Title for the second time in his illustrious wrestling career.

In a recent interview with the Hindustan Times’ Yash Bhati, Finn Balor was asked the age-old question about a Bullet Club reunion. And he responded that he believes it will happen one day with AJ Styles and Adam Cole, whom he called one of the best wrestlers he’s faced in his career.

Here’s the quote, with a hat tip to WrestlingInc.com’s Brie Coder:

"“It is something that people have been talking about for almost 6 years. I feel like all the pieces haven’t been in place yet. You need that perfect moment. It wasn’t right for AJ at the time, wasn’t right for me or Adam at the time. But, there will come a point in time, all the stars align where we would be able to get a Club moment with me, AJ, and Adam included.”"

Finn Balor only needs one brief Bullet Club moment

Fans have been wondering about Styles’ future in WWE, especially since Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson have moved to Impact Wrestling. His former factionmates as part of WWE’s “Club” have teased the idea of working with NJPW as part of the Bullet Club.

Styles and Balor had an impromptu match at No Mercy 2017 that stole the show, and Cole and Balor recently showed their in-ring prowess against each other. A “reunion” of sorts among all three former Bullet Club members would be amazing, thought it would be for just one fleeting moment. Those brief snapshots to pop the audience can sometimes be lasting memories.

We don’t need to see Finn Balor bring back the Club or anything. He’s already doing amazing on his own in this new character. But the stars aligning and a moment with Styles and Cole? I can’t think of many people who would be against that.
