As the NXT Champion, Finn Balor could be headed for a championship Triple Threat at WWE Survivor Series 2020. Here’s who the Prince would want to face.

Finn Balor won the NXT Championship for the second time in his career a few weeks ago, defeating Adam Cole in what was essentially a tiebreaker match on NXT Television after both men had two falls apiece in a 60-man Ironman Match.

The Prince, as he calls himself now to call back to being Prince Devitt in NJPW, is ready for a great reign on the Black and Gold brand. His first challenger will be determined soon on NXT in a Gauntlet Eliminator Match.

But the Prince already has eyes on his WWE Survivor Series 2020 ticket. As a brand vs. brand vs. brand affair, in which NXT won last year, Balor would likely face two champions in a Triple Threat match in November.

In an interview with Yash Bhati of the Hindustan Times, Balor named four wrestlers he’d like to face at the Big 5 Pay Per View. [H/T to WrestlingInc.com’s Brie Coder]

His picks? The Fiend, Drew McIntyre, Edge, and Randy Orton.

Finn Balor and Edge would be part of a dream match

Three of those four picks aren’t surprsing. McIntyre and Balor in the same ring would produce fireworks. Orton and Balor have often been compared to each other or mentioned in matches that fans want to see. And Edge with Balor in the same ring? That is a dream match.

But the surprising pick is Bray Wyatt, whom Balor has already faced multiple times in his career both as the Fiend and as Wyatt. He feuded with Wyatt in 2017 and 2019, and neither feud was seen as particularly great, though the second one with the Fiend did produce interest due to Wyatt’s new character.

Still, Wyatt is unlikely to win the title from Roman Reigns, who will hold it for the long haul. On the Raw side of things, McIntyre is the WWE Champion, and Orton has a real shot at winning it before November even begins. Edge is still out with an injury, so his title reign is likely still a few months away. But he is ready to swoop in for the WWE Title after Randy wins it.
