Hurt Business vs. Breezango vs. Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura [Tag Team Championship Brand War]

Since Breezango and Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura recently won their respective championships and have been booked well defending them, it is very unlikely that they will lose those championships by the time Survivor Series comes around.

Breezango won the NXT Tag Team Championships from Imperium and recently retained against them in a rematch, while Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura won the SmackDown Tag Team Championships from The New Day at WWE Extreme Rules 2020 and will very likely retain those championships against Lucha House Party.

However, the Street Profits, who already defeated Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura in a mini brand war on a special edition of ‘In Your Face’ Raw, have had the Raw Tag Team Championships since March when they dethroned Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy on an episode of Monday Night Raw in Brooklyn and are thereby more likely to lose their championships to Hurt Business’ Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander in the coming months.

As for the winner, the only babyface tag team in this scenario is Breezango. Since they are wrongfully booked as the weakest tag team of the three, a win here would rightfully portray them as worthy tag team champions who can hang with the main roster tag teams that they battled in the past. Never forget the Fashion Files.

Prediction: Breezango (1-1-0)

Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan (c) vs. Tegan Nox and Candice LeRae vs. Bliss Cross Applesauce [Women’s Tag Team Championships]

Assuming that Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan dethrone Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax at WWE Clash of Champions 2020, they should defend the Women’s Tag Team Championships against an NXT Tag Team and a SmackDown Tag Team at Survivor Series since the Women’s Tag Team Championships are defended amongst all brands.

It would be fitting for Ruby and Liv to battle two tag teams that are similarly going through a rough friendship in Tegan Nox and Candice LeRae and Bliss Cross Applesauce. While Nox and LeRae has had a tough time rebuilding their friendship because of ‘The Gargano Way,’ Bliss Cross Applesauce has had a tough time rebuilding their friendship because of ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt.

Either LeRae will be taking Nox to the dark side or Nox will bring LeRae back to normal. Similarly, either Bliss will be taking Nikki Cross to the dark side or Cross will bring Bliss back to normal. Meanwhile, Ruby and Liv Morgan are merely building up their friendship as much possible and will probably have the clearest minds, going into this match.

All three tag teams have great stories and would be worthy of becoming tag team champions. However, since Bliss Cross Applesauce already became tag team champions twice and Riott and Morgan will have had a long enough reign by then, it would be time for Nox and LeRae to earn a chance at their first championships in the WWE and bring the Women’s Tag Team Championships to NXT for the first time in history.

Prediction: Tegan Nox and Candice LeRae (1-2-0)
