3. Sami Zayn is a great heel

Know as ‘The Underdog from the Underground’ Sami Zayn was a great babyface but when he turned heel on Shane McMahon and sided with his long time rival Kevin Owens, in October 2017, he showed could be positioned as both and do a great job.

Not many wrestlers can play both roles well but Sami Zayn is one of them. You love to hate him, due to his brash and cocky attitude, you want to see him get his butt kicked. The art of being a heel has been lost, without fans in arenas, but Sami Zayn always gets a reaction on social media – he knows how to draw the right reaction from fans.

Having the Intercontinental Championship will add to his heat and Sami Zayn could brag that he told everyone he was the true champion in the first place and justice has finally been done. That would make him more unbearable than he already is, taking his persona to another level. Nobody likes anyone who says ‘I told you so’ and Sami Zayn will do plenty of bragging if he wins on Sunday.

Other than Roman Reigns, SmackDown is lacking in the heel department and Sami Zayn is more than capable of being positioned behind the Tribal Chief on Friday Night’s as the brand’s second top heel.
