WWE star wants to run the table in a heel faction with Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns, along with the Sasha Banks vs. Bayley feud, has breathed new life into WWE SmackDown since his return. And we want him to be out for ‘blood’.
The Bloodline. We’ve seen The Usos and Roman Reigns work closely together in WWE, but we’ve never seen them as a full-on faction, working together to run the company. Because we know if the world’s best tag team and wrestling’s biggest full-time star came together, they would have WWE in the palm of their hands. (I mean, it’s not like Roman doesn’t already…)
Reigns will defend the Universal Championship at Clash of Champions this Sunday against his real-life cousin Jey Uso, who is getting his first shot at singles gold. Jey and his brother Jimmy are elite tag team wrestlers, but Jey is also showing that he has the skills and charisma to hang as a singles star.
In a recent interview with talkSPORT’s Alex McCarthy, Jey Uso was asked about the “Bloodline” forming as a faction in the future.
Jey Uso would love to be in a ‘heel’ Bloodline faction with Roman Reigns
And if it were to happen, Jey would be all for it:
"“The Bloodline will come on and off. That will always be there. But imagine us running that thing full-blown – and I would love to be heel – a heel faction. Hell yeah, bro! I wanna see some Samoan Swat Team 2.0 type of things, man. It’s written by itself, right?”"
He’s absolutely not the only one. Ever since Jey Uso won the No. 1 Contender’s match on SmackDown to become Roman’s opponent, wrestling fans have been buzzing about the possibility of the faction forming. Even if it doesn’t happen at Clash and has to wait until Jimmy’s return, WWE fans will still be interested in that faction forming. They’ve been interested for years!
Would Naomi join the faction, too? That would be another question to ask if the time comes. But for now, wrestling fans will enjoy Jey giving it his all against Roman Reigns at Clash of Champions. The Big Dog has made short work of most of his opponents, including Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman to win the title at Payback, so the odds are stacked against Jey.
