Bayley

If Raw or SmackDown want to ensure they have consistency at the top of their women’s division, they need look no further than reigning SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley. At 350 days and counting, Bayley is nearing a full calendar year as the top of the food chain in her division.

Bayley has torn through the competition at every turn, which provides one of two possibilities. Either SmackDown needs to draft her some new challengers, or Raw needs to revitalize their division by positioning “The Role Model” as their top dog.

Sasha Banks

Despite only a brief reign as Raw Women’s Champion, Sasha Banks has proven herself time and time again as one of the most important superstars in all of WWE. Whether she’s champion or not, Banks has consistently remained “The Conversation” and been part of the most-watched segments on either show.

Either with a potential injury she’s still coping with at the hands of Bayley, Banks is an important grab for either brand. With a role in The Mandalorian also on the horizon, it’s just a question of which brand reaps the benefits of being the home of “The Boss.”

Drew McIntyre

Last, but certainly not least, there’s always the possibility that whoever gets the number one pick goes right after the reigning WWE Champion Drew McIntyre. As for the man himself, McIntyre has continued to solidify himself as one of the top names in WWE with consistent performances and hard-fought title defenses.

Perhaps most importantly, he’s carrying the most tenured and arguably most prestigious championship in all of WWE. Either brand would have the benefit of getting the WWE Championship and “The Scottish Psychopath” in one fell swoop, making him a definite possible number one pick.
