WWE Survivor Series 2020: Men’s Traditional 5-on-5-on-5

5-on-5-on-5 Men’s Traditional Survivor Series Triple Threat Match: Team Raw (Captain Seth Rollins, Aleister Black, Braun Strowman, Dominik Mysterio, and AJ Styles) vs. Team SmackDown (Captain Kofi Kingston, Big E, King Corbin, Randy Orton, and Sheamus) vs. Team NXT (Captain Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Bronson Reed, KUSHIDA, and Killian Dain)

In the final Traditional Survivor Series Match of the night, we’ve got several instances where there’s no telling if these personalities can co-exist long enough to secure a team victory. Should he remain on WWE Raw following the 2020 WWE Draft, go ahead and bank on Seth Rollins appointing himself captain of Team Raw and proclaiming himself a “locker room leader” along the way.

This huge team would also include powerful figures like Aleister Black, Braun Strowman, and AJ Styles, as well as a conflicted Dominik Mysterio trying to tolerate and work with his bitter rival for the betterment of his own brand. The same could go for Team SmackDown, where we’ll hopefully see Kofi Kingston back any week now, and he could be forced to put his (and Big E’s) issues with Corbin, Orton, and Sheamus aside to hold SmackDown together.

Lastly, we have Team NXT, lead by former NXT Champion Adam Cole. While the five men on this potential Team NXT haven’t exactly been the best of friends in the past, they seem most likely to come together for their brand and potentially score a huge victory in this tri-branded contest.

WWE Survivor Series 2020: Women’s Champions Showcase

Tri-Branded Women’s Champions Triple Threat Match: Raw Women’s Champion Asuka vs. SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley vs. NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai

While this is a match that has the potential to main event the show, chances are we won’t see the women in the main event two years in a row. Last year, Bayley was also the SmackDown Women’s Champion, but in the main event of WWE Survivor Series 2019 she came up short when then-NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler choked her out and ended the night standing tall.

That match also included Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, who is still out of action for the time being. Bayley could find herself against a familiar foe at WWE Survivor Series 2020 in the form of “The Empress of Tomorrow.” Fortunately for Bayley, this time her title wouldn’t be on the line when she has to face Raw Women’s Champion Asuka.

However, there would be a third threat added to the mix with NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai. While Shirai will have to defend her title at NXT TakeOver: 31 against Candice LeRae, a win there would likely lead to Shirai walking into WWE Survivor Series 2020 still holding the NXT Women’s Title to set up this absolute dream match between three of the top women in wrestling today.
