How did each segment grade out on this week’s episode of WWE Raw?

With the final night of the 2020 WWE Draft underway, contenders are decided while others vie for supremacy on WWE Raw. Kevin Owens and Aleister Black battle it out in a vicious No Disqualification encounter.

Kevin Owens Vs. Aleister Black

Grade: B

KO immediately went after Black as the match quickly spilled to the outside. He would continue to unleash various strikes and maneuvers, including a devastating senton to the barricade. Black turned the tide shortly thereafter with a toss onto the announcer’s table and targeting Owens’ preexisting injuries.

Towards the conclusion, Owens used a stunner and a brutal powerbomb on a table to secure the pinfall.

The vicious rivals engaged in an exciting contest with several dangerous maneuvers and hard-hitting strikes. Aleister Black attempted to use his environment to its full advantage, but it wasn’t enough for Kevin Owens’ speed and precision.

Jeff Hardy Vs. AJ Styles Vs. Seth Rollins

Grade: A

Raw newcomers Jeff Hardy and AJ Styles battled against the outgoing Seth Rollins. Hardy would easily dismantle Rollins, allowing him to attack Styles in closed assaults. AJ later assumed control with ground attacks while blocking attempts for Rollins to reenter the contest.

Towards the conclusion, an assault from the returning Elias gave Styles the pin over Hardy.

Jeff Hardy was a man possessed during this match. He would use his fast-paced offense to keep the pace in his favor for the duration. Alas, interference dashed his chance at a homecoming victory.

Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose Vs. Natalya and Lana

Grade: B

Mandy Rose would use a quick tag move to keep Natalya isolated, but the latter would muster a massive slam to allow Lana a piece of the action. A distraction helped Dana Brooke to tag Rose for her own fluid assault not too long after.

Towards the conclusion, Brooke and Rose utilized a tag team senton to reign victorious.

Rose and Brooke used their newfound camaraderie to exceptional heights. While Lana tried to maintain control, the teammates easily secured the win with clever power moves and keeping their opponent isolated.

Angel Garza Vs. Andrade

Grade: C

Andrade wailed on Garza early on, targeting the injured left leg in numerous ways. The assault continued near the announcer’s table until Angel found a sudden opening.

Towards the conclusion, Angel Garza hit the Wingclipper for the pinfall victory.

While brief, this match was well-paced and full of savage moves. Andrade’s hostilities with his former tag partner may come to a halt with the introduction of the Fiend.

The New Day Vs. Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler

Grade: B

The New Day placed their Raw Tag Team Championships on the line against Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler and Woods kept the match on the mat with limb targeting and headlocks in the opening moments. Once Roode entered the fray, he would wail on Kingston and take advantage of assistance from his partner.

In the climax of the match, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods unleashed the Midnight Hour for the pinfall victory.

Kingston and Woods were astounding in this match. While their opponents looked to use their individual strengths against the duo, they pulled out a second wind to secure another victory.

Ricochet Vs. Cedric Alexander

Grade: C

Ricochet faced off against Cedric Alexander, vowing to join the Hurt Business if he loses. He attempted a quick assault only for his opponent to return the favor. Alexander continued to use ground moves to leave Ricochet zero breathing room.

Towards the conclusion, Ricochet allowed Cedric to take a chair as the referee got back to his feet, forcing a disqualification.

The One and Only fired on all cylinders in this match. Despite the efforts of the Hurt Business, he would utilize a sneaky trick to gain a point over the treacherous stable.

Raw Women’s Championship #1 Contender’s Battle Royal

Grade: D

A dual-branded battle royal took place to determine the next challenger for Asuka’s championship. After some words from Nia, the match went underway with most of the competitors unable to eliminate the women’s tag team champions. Shayna would betray her partner later on by assisting in her exclusion from the contest.

In the climax of the match, the match came down to Natalya, Lacey Evans, Liv Morgan, and Ruby Riott. After the Riott Squad’s exclusion, Lana would eliminate her former partner to win the contest.
