Naomi wins the WWE Raw Women’s Championship

We’ve seen Naomi win the SmackDown Women’s Title twice, and her second, non-injury-shortened reign should have been longer. Naomi is one of the best wrestlers in the WWE Women’s Division and a future Hall of Famer, and fans have been itching to see her in the title picture again. Or at least in more matches!

Remember, she earned a title shot by pinning Bayley, yet she never received that title opportunity on Friday nights.

So now that she’s on Raw, Naomi should be able to work herself into the title picture quickly. She was one of the top 10 picks on Night 1, hinting at a key role on the Red Brand with the likes of Asuka and Charlotte surrounding her. I see her winning the Raw Women’s Title for the first time.

Ricochet joins WWE Raw’s faction RETRIBUTION

I still think it’s hilarious that, in kayfabe, WWE executives said, “RETRIBUTION has been destroying Raw for the past month? Sign them up!” Then again, it does make sense for a bunch of corporate suits to prioritize destruction solely to boost ratings, right?

Mustafa Ali being revealed as the leader of RETRIBUTION adds more buzz to the faction, as Ali is a talented superstar whose segments are often among the highest-viewed on YouTube. And that includes his RETRIBUTION reveal, which is closing in on three million views.

But I think WWE will add another name to the faction in Ricochet. He still has business with the Hurt Business, who definitely didn’t take kindly to his Eddie Guerrero tactics in a win over Cedric Alexander on Night 2 of the draft. The One and Only seems confident, and it’s likely because he has the backing of an entire faction.
