Sasha Banks (c) vs. Bayley [SmackDown Women’s Championship]

Assuming Sasha Banks retains the SmackDown Women’s Championship, she will very likely run through the entire SmackDown Women’s Division before battling Bayley again at WrestleMania 37. This means that Bayley would be a top candidate for Women’s Royal Rumble Winner. That way, she can select battle Sasha Banks in a championship rematch on this grand stage.

Banks should win here. She should be holding onto that championship as long as Bayley did for the past year and a half to truly solidify her victory over Bayley and hopefully erase memories of her continuous failures to retain the Raw Women’s Championship. Instead of being an underdog, it is now time for Banks to be the indomitable ‘Legit Boss’ the WWE Universe remembered in NXT.

Prediction: Sasha Banks

Io Shirai (c) vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Charlotte Flair [NXT Women’s Championship]

NXT Takeover: In Your House rematch at WrestleMania 37? Assuming Io Shirai retains her championship against Toni Storm and Ember Moon on the road to WrestleMania, her ultimate opponent should be Rhea Ripley. Ripley has already teased it and it makes sense that she would want to redeem herself from that Moonsault Attack at NXT Takeover: In Your House.

However, it would not be too far fetched to include the Queen, Charlotte Flair, in this match. Rematch clauses do not necessarily exist, so it would be unfounded to assert that Charlotte deserves a rematch. However, Ripley has unfinished business with Charlotte from last year’s WrestleMania, so it would be fitting for Ripley to redeem herself against her too.

Prediction: Rhea Ripley

Asuka (c) vs. Alexa Bliss [Raw Women’s Championship]

Here’s a fun fact: Like Sasha Banks, Asuka has never won a match at WrestleMania. Asuka lost her streak to Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 34. She lost the Women’s Battle Royal at WrestleMania 35. Conveniently, along with Kairi Sane, she lost the Women’s Tag Team Championships to Bliss Cross Applesauce at WrestleMania 36.

Ever since Alexa Bliss joined The Fiend, she has taken a more important role in the WWE. This new role could very well set her up for a Raw Women’s Championship opportunity at WrestleMania. However, Bliss does not need to win. Asuka needs to win this time. She deserves it, and the track record speaks for itself.

Prediction: Asuka
