On the November 9th edition of WWE Raw, superstars seek retribution while others aim to maintain their hot streaks heading into Survivor Series. Drew McIntyre joins forces with the New Day to take on WWE Champion Randy Orton, The Miz and John Morrison.

Jeff Hardy Vs. Riddle Vs. Elias

Grade: B

The final Team Raw member was decided in a Second Chance triple threat. Elias began the match by slugging at Hardy, leading to Riddle getting involved in a series of near falls. Riddle and Jeff would then take the action to the outside, allowing Elias to decimate his opponents with the steps and ring posts. Jeff would later turn the match in his favor with two Twists of Fate, gaining a small burst of control.

Towards the conclusion, Matt Riddle hit the BroDerek on a disoriented Elias to punch his ticket to Survivor Series.

Elias did extremely well in controlling the momentum early on, picking apart his opponents both in and out of the ring. Jeff Hardy would even utilize some ground skills to maintain the pace. But alas, one small misstep gave Riddle the opportunity to unleash a significant rally and fend off his challengers en route to victory.

Shayna Baszler Vs. Lana

Grade: C

Lana attempted to jump on Shayna to start, only for her to easily gain control with attacks in the corner. Shayna would use a gutwrench and knee strike ti further decimate Lana. She would then conclude the match with a Coquina Clutch, maintaining dominance over the Ravishing Russian for her team.

This brief contest would see the Queen of Spades take pleasure in dominating her adversary, utilizing easy strikes and submissions. It seems as if Lana finally has some allies in the form of Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke, with the two coming to her aid after the match.

Sheamus and Braun Strowman Vs. Keith Lee and Riddle

Grade: A

With tensions mounting between the Team Raw members, AJ Styles takes on the role of special guest referee to ease the chaos. Lee began the match by targeting the arm of Sheamus and allowing Riddle to continue the punishment. With a small opening, Braun Strowman entered the fray and destroyed Riddle while exchanging tags with the Celtic Warrior.

In the climax of the contest, Sheamus would hit a Brogue Kick on his partner. Riddle then achieved a rollup to pick up the win against his future teammates.

Sheamus and Braun Strowman did a spectacular job picking apart their opponents especially towards the middle of the match, using their speed and strengths to slow down Lee and Riddle for the duration. A final disagreement proved to be their downfall as the heroes secured a quick win.

Bobby Lashley Vs. Titus O’Neil

Grade: C

Titus O’Neil arrived to the ring to take on Bobby Lashley in a US Championship contest. Titus would withstand a quick distraction as he slugged on Lashley in the corner. Following a quick exchange and a spear, Lashley implemented the Hurt Lock to retain his title.

Titus came into the match with a clip on his shoulder, and vengeance on his mind. Alas, he would not be able to prepare for the All Mighty’s unbelievable skills as the Hurt Business continues to focus on higher stakes encounters.

Nia Jax Vs. Asuka

Grade: B

In a champion vs champion encounter, Asuka goes head-to-head with Nia Jax. Asuka began the match with kicks, later focusing on the arm in a constricting octopus hold. Jax would later find a way to power out and manhandle Asuka with slams mid-match.

Towards the conclusion, Asuka would use a hip attack to take out Mandy Rose, Dana Brooke, and Shayna Baszler on the outside. Baszler would then interfere as the Asuka Lock was applied to force a disqualification.

Nia Jax was seemingly more than prepared for this encounter, withstanding Asuka’s quick offense while using her strength to constantly keep the match in her favor. When it seemed as if the Empress of Tomorrow had the match won, the Queen of Spades made a reckless decision to establish dominance.

Mustafa Ali Vs. Ricochet

Grade: A

Ricochet goes against Mustafa Ali in a vicious grudge match. Ricochet began the match by attacking Ali in the corner, attempting to get through to Ali with each move. Ali gained control with a massive clothesline, finding equal ground with strikes and a suplex. Ricochet reassumed dominance with attacks on the outside as the Retribution members evened the score.

Towards the conclusion, Ricochet would attempt and miss a 630 splash after Ali lifted his knees. He would then implement a Koji Clutch to gain the edge over his former ally.

In a contest worthy of the hype, Ricochet used his speed and exceptional in-ring presence to its full potential. Ali made sure to not let his opponent’s massive rally deter him, using a few tricks and his own stellar offense to gain another win for the chaotic Retribution.

Drew McIntyre and The New Day Vs. Randy Orton, The Miz, and John Morrison

Grade: B

Drew McIntyre began the match with chops in the corner, letting Xavier Woods get a piece early on. Woods retained control until Kofi entered the match with a big crossbody. Despite the efforts of Miz, New Day disoriented their opponents with kicks and a top-rope dive to the outside.

Towards the conclusion, Drew McIntyre would hit the Claymore on John Morrison to send a message to the WWE Champion.

Randy Orton took pleasure in scouting his future opponent Drew McIntyre for this match, allowing Miz and Morrison to take out the New Day with their own diverse set of moves. In the end, the Scottish Psychopath’ neverending supply of energy boosted him and his team to a significant victory.
