The New Day/Hurt Business vs. Street Profits [Tag Team Champions Brand War]

Mark Justice: Xavier Woods was injured for an entire year and this is his first PPV back as one half of the Raw Tag Team Champions. There’s no way that the Hurt Business will dethrone them on next week’s Raw. Instead, Alexander and Benjamin can keep themselves busy by assuring that the CEO of Hurt Business, Bobby Lashley, defeats Sami Zayn.

The New Day will continue to prove that they are the best tag team in the WWE by defeating the Street Profits at Survivor Series because they will not lose on their first PPV back. Defeating the New Day is a big deal, so Ford and Dawkins’ momentum will not suffer in this loss. They can still win sometime down the line in a passing of the torch, but they will not win now.

Prediction: The New Day (1-1)

Kevin Parvizi: I really think the Hurt Business take the Raw Tag Team Titles away from the New Day and face the Street Profits at Survivor Series. I’m not 100 percent confident that happens, but I think WWE book Street Profits vs. Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin for us.

And in that case, I have Alexander and Benjamin winning. WWE needs to go all-in on the Hurt Business, who have been a major highlight in Raw and have ascended to the main event scene, if such a “scene” exists as its own defined space. MVP has led his men to greatness, and that needs to be reflected in both silverware and TWO marquee victories at the Survivor Series Pay Per View.

Prediction: Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin (1-1)
