Drew McIntyre/Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns [Men’s Champions Brand War]

Mark Justice: Drew McIntyre will unquestionably win the WWE Championship back from Randy Orton on next week’s Raw. Orton very rarely has lengthy title reigns nowadays, and the WWE Championship has a tendency to change hands on the go-home show before Survivor Series (e.g. AJ Styles dethroning Jinder in 2017, Daniel dethroning Styles in 2018).

Remember when McIntyre eliminated Reigns last to win the Royal Rumble this year? Well, Roman Reigns will attain his redemption from Royal Rumble 2020 by defeating McIntyre nefariously. McIntyre’s track record against Reigns in one-on-one matches have not been stellar (e.g. lost to Reigns at both WWE WrestleMania 35 and WWE Stomping Ground 2019). Expect the same here.

Prediction: Roman Reigns (3-4)

Kevin Parvizi: I’m still 50/50 on if Randy Orton or Drew McIntyre will win, but I’m not sure it matters since, like you, I have Roman Reigns winning. And really, this is the easiest match of the night to predict, because there is no way in hell Roman loses. He is on a level of his own in WWE, and he isn’t losing for more than a year. That’s my long-term prediction within this Survivor Series predictions piece.

Reigns and Drew McIntyre would be a much, much better match, so I would prefer to see it. But also, I’d rather see that caliber of a match with a full build at a Pay Per View with more stakes than Survivor Series. No, “Brand Supremacy” does not get anyone to care any more than they should.

Prediction: Roman Reigns (2-5)
