2.) Asuka (c) vs. Charlotte Flair [Raw Women’s Championship]

Many people probably think that Asuka vs. Sasha Banks at WWE Survivor Series 2020 is a lock, but what will stop Charlotte Flair from returning to dethrone Asuka and battle Sasha Banks in what would be a reignited heel vs. face 2016 rivalry? Nothing, because WWE never ceases to assure that the Flair is in the spotlight.

Did WWE build up any singles stars in the Raw Women’s Division to become a credible threat to Asuka? No, the only credible challengers on Raw would be the Women’s Tag Team Champions, Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax, who are quite frankly tag wrestlers. Henceforth, the short-cut solution to booking a singles wrestler as a singles threat to Asuka is bringing Charlotte Flair back.

Flair’s last match before her departure was against Asuka on the June 17, 2020 episode of Raw, so it would make sense for her to return to where she left off. She has a track record of defeating Asuka in high-stake matches, and a match with Banks at Survivor Series could be more refreshing to fans than Asuka vs. Banks, which has occurred numerous times over the summer of 2020.

Prediction: Charlotte Flair

1.) Randy Orton (c) vs. Drew McIntyre [WWE Championship]

In last week’s edition of Daily DDT’s Raw Predictions, our Mark Justice (a.k.a. me) asserted that Drew McIntyre will win back the WWE Championship from Randy Orton before Survivor Series. Forget the Orton vs. Edge WrestleMania rumors. Just apply precedent from the last-minute title changes with the WWE Championship in 2017 and 2018 involving AJ Styles.

On top of that, McIntyre confronted Reigns and defeated Jey Uso on SmackDown. It has now become evidently clear that he has overlooked Orton and will battle Reigns at Survivor Series. Will it be a clean victory? Probably not, because Wyatt could interfere and cost Orton the match since his main target has been Orton, instead of the WWE Championship.
