TNT Championship

TNT Championship Match: Darby Allin (c) vs. Miro

Having just captured the title from Cody Rhodes at AEW Full Gear 2020, I fully expect Darby Allin to walk in to AEW Revolution still holding the TNT Championship. He’s working on some challengers at the moment, but it wouldn’t be difficult to shift towards a new opponent in the coming months.

Miro already feels like a massive asset to AEW, and he’s continuing to come into his own as a character in his new home. This could be a big moment with Miro capturing his first title outside of WWE, but it could also be a huge opportunity to further solidify Allin as champion with a big win over Miro.

IWGP US Championship

IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship Match: Jon Moxley (c) vs. KENTA

This potential match hinges entirely on whether AEW finally opens the forbidden door and forms an agreement with NJPW. If they can make that happen between now and AEW Revolution, and Kenny Omega takes the AEW World Championship from Jon Moxley, this one feels all too perfect.

KENTA won the New Japan Cup USA Tournament back in August, and as such earned the right to challenge for the title that’s still held by Jon Moxley. If the pieces fall into place, we might finally see KENTA use that opportunity on the grand stage that is AEW Revolution against the former AEW World Champion.
