Bobby Lashley vs. Sami Zayn

Result: Bobby Lashley wins with the Hurt Lock

Grade: B, An entertaining match for what it was, with both Bobby Lashley and Sami Zayn playing their roles perfectly.

If you went into this match hoping for a technical masterpiece, then you would have been thoroughly disappointed. But if you went into this match hoping to be entertained, then you got exactly what you wanted.

Sami Zayn is one of the most entertaining wrestlers around, as we saw at Clash of Champions in that tremendous ladder match. We got another vintage performance from Zayn, who kept retreating and doing everything he possibly could to get disqualified by the other three members of the Hurt Business at ringside.

Bobby Lashley was just toying with Zayn throughout the match. Zayn had a couple of openings, but we all knew he was pretty much doomed. The best part of the match came when Zayn pulled a Fallon d’Floor candidate, sticking his leg out to flop onto the ground in the hopes of drawing a disqualification. It obviously did not work.

The All Mighty picked up the expected victory in this champion vs. champion match at Survivor Series, further establishing the Hurt Business as THE faction to beat in WWE. It is going to take a special effort for someone to beat Lashley at this point, and he could really have his eyes on the WWE Championship again in the pursuit of becoming a double-champion as the Hurt Business’ esteemed CEO.
