Thea Trinidad

The recently released Zelina Vega of the WWE is no stranger to Impact Wrestling. Under the ring name of Rosita, Thea Trinidad made a name for herself in the company between 2011 and 2013. During her tenure, she was a one-time TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion alongside Sarita, better known as Sarah Stock. She was also released from the WWE this past September. Since 2013, Trinidad has continued to improve in the ring and out of the ring.

During her most recent run-in WWE, she arguably did the best work of her entire career. She shined in her position as a manager for Andrade. She was crucial to Andrade’s run as the NXT Champion and helped bring Angel Garza into the spotlight on Raw. After splitting from Andrade and Garza, Zelina Vega was just beginning to shine as singles competitors when all of the recent issues led to her sudden release.

If Impact Wrestling can sign Trinidad, it won’t be until early next year when her 90-day non-compete clause comes up. However, due to her current situation, she is a name you won’t be forgetting about anytime soon. Depending on how things pan out, being released from WWE may end up being the best thing that could have happened for her.
