Kevin Owens made a huge statement to close this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown.

On the November 27th edition of WWE SmackDown, champions confront new and dangerous contenders as others seek vengeance on behalf of the entire locker room. Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn goes head-to-head with Daniel Bryan in a highly anticipated encounter, while Kevin Owens faces Jey Uso in the main event.

The Street Profits Vs. Dolph Ziggler and Bobby Roode

Grade: B

The SmackDown Tag Team Champions take on Dolph Ziggler and Bobby Roode in a huge matchup. Dawkins and Ford immediately overwhelmed Ziggler with tag maneuvers until a botched frog splash allowed the Show Off to assume the advantage. Dolph and Bobby returned the favor with a series of brutal strikes and holds, exchanging quick tags.

Towards the conclusion, Montez Ford would easily knock Ziggler out of the ring, clearing the space. Roode would then assume a quick rollup to secure the victory and a potential future shot at the titles.

The Street Profits were in full form for this match, using their exciting speed and strength to constantly keep the momentum in their corner in spite of several setbacks. Ziggler and Roode were no slouches in the contest as well, leaning on each other frequently to steal the win.

Sami Zayn Vs. Daniel Bryan

Grade: A

Zayn and Bryan began the match in a lockup, allowing Bryan to target the left arm in quick submissions. Zayn eventually gained control on the ring apron before using the barricade to his advantage. Bryan attempted another dive after a quick exchange only to suffer a brutal hit on the outside.

In the climax of the contest, Daniel would perform another outside dive near the ramp. After chasing Sami to the back, the champion would return to the ring last-minute to secure the victory by count-out.

The Yes Man constantly kept the Intercontinental Champion on edge in this exciting match. He would frequently target the limbs and make use of top rope moves to leave little breathing room. In the end, Sami Zayn’s wily ways prevented him from suffering a huge loss en route to TLC.

Bianca Belair Vs. Natalya

Grade: B

Bianca would exchange moves against her opponent until suffering a shoulder injury on the ring post. Natalya gained control with a rollup, clothesline, and Pin-Up Strong maneuver. Natalya then struck Bayley after continued interference, allowing Belair to rollup her opponent and secure the win.

Belair and Natalya were on equal ground for this contest, using their respective strengths to inflict huge amounts of damage. Bayley made her presence known before and during the match to disorient her rival, but The Est of WWE once again found a way to prevail in convincing fashion.

Murphy Vs. King Corbin

Grade: C

Otis was assaulted by Jey Uso earlier in the evening, canceling the former’s match with King Corbin and replacing him with Murphy. Murphy found several opportunities to destroy Corbin with kicks while the latter was frequently distracted by the Mysterio family at ringside.

Towards the conclusion, Murphy unleashed another huge kick to knock out his opponent. Despite Corbin’s foot being on the ropes, Dominik would rectify the situation while the ref was distracted to secure the win for his ally.

King Corbin was in uncharted waters for this match. With the Mysterio family lurking on all corners, his brief attempts at gaining a substantial advantage were constantly hindered. Murphy remained resilient in light of the heavy punishment and got a huge edge in his favor.

Kevin Owens Vs. Jey Uso

Grade: A

Owens began the match with a series of huge chops and strikes, forcing Jey to make a quick retreat. KO continued to lay on the punishment both in and out of ring until Uso chucked his opponent into the steel steps. The two adversaries exchanged strikes until Owens regained the advantage with barricade slams.

Towards the conclusion, Jey would utilize another attack on the ring post. He would then pull out a chair and struck Owens to force a disqualification.

Kevin Owens was a true soldier in this match despite suffering several arm injuries. He devastated the newly vicious superstar with several major moves throughout the ring area. Jey’s declining sanity got the best of him in the match, leading him to make a reckless decision on behalf of the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns.
