This year has been tough on many people but Lana may have had it worse. A divorce and two months of going through a announce table, to say the least.

On this past Monday’s Raw, Lana teamed up with the WWE Raw Women’s Champion Asuka to pick an upset victory over the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. After months of being tortured by the team, Jax more importantly, Lana is finally getting back some revenge against the two. This leaves us wondering if Lana will be one half of the next Women’s Tag Team Champions.

The Women’s Tag Team Championships have been an afterthought for the majority of 2020 even around Jax and Baszler’s waists. We would love nothing more than December being the month to turn the entire year around for the championships. There are many worthy teams that deserve their run with the titles like The Riott Squad and their time as champions will come soon enough.

However, I would have to say that Lana will be one of the next Women’s Tag Team Champions. That only leaves the question: who will be the other half of the team? In the past year, we have seen Lana be dumped by “husband” Bobby Lashley and then dumped again by her “best friend” Natalya. And now that her real true love off to AEW, is there anyone left to have Lana’s back?

Lana never made it easy for herself in kayfabe. Since arriving in WWE alongside Rusev, she has easily been one of the most despised members of the roster. She has been arrogant and loud about her opinions when she had powerful superstars in front of her. However, recently left alone and being humbled, Lana is surely regretting not making more friends.

Although she could get lucky, the old saying says that the enemy of my enemy is my friend. That could be true when it comes to Lana and a partner winning the championships. While her partner Dana Brooke was victimized by Retribution’s Reckoning, Mandy Rose was taken off the Survivor Series team due to an attack by Shayna Baszler.

Although we are waiting to hear from both Brooke and Rose, one could expect that Dana will have unfinished business to deal with Reckoning. This leaves Mandy Rose available to have a substitute partner in her unfinished business with Shayna Baszler. Mandy would be reluctant to team with Lana, of course, but this would be a time she would just have to deal with it to get the job done.

It wouldn’t be the first odd combination of superstars to win tag team gold together, the current champions being the perfect example. While Shayna and Nia have come a long way as a team, they are still far from best friends. They could cause their own downfall as champions and Lana and Mandy Rose could be waiting for them.
