WWE has produced some of the most incredible women’s champions of all time. Ranking them is a challenging task.

Over the many years of WWE, we have seen some of the most talented women in the world entire the ring. They have fought long and hard over the years to bring women’s wrestling to the place that it is today. The trailblazers led the way and opened up the doors that the women of today continue to shatter in their way.

The women’s revolution opened a door for women to show that they are just as good if not better than their male counterparts. Where Jacqueline was breaking gender barriers by winning the WWE Cruiserweight Championship, Lita and Trish Stratus were main eventing Raw for the very first time and tearing down the house.

Years later, we are blessed to see the women of today have the opportunity to shine. In the past few years, we have the first women’s Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber matches to name only a few.

The Women’s Championship in WWE is one to be held with great respect. The women have fought to give the championship a long legacy of great champions. With multiple championships in consideration, it is a challenge to create a list of the top five out of so many worthy champions to be on that list.

However, who doesn’t love a good challenge? Before we get started with the top five, here are a few honorable mentions.
