Impact Wrestling and AEW shocked the world on Wednesday night when Kenny Omega was teased to appear on Tuesday night on AXS TV.

IMPACT Wrestling and AEW‘s rumored cooperation was cemented on Wednesday night when. EVP Don Callis, who was present at All Elite Wrestling as a guest commentator for the World Heavyweight Championship match between Kenny Omega and Jon Moxley.

Callis made his presence felt during the match feeding Omega a microphone and distracting the referee so that he could attack Moxley with the makeshift weapon before pinning him to win the title.

Callis then pulled Omega from the ring and made a break from the ring and out the backstage area telling Alex Marvez that all will be revealed on Tuesday night. But as is typical for most of wrestling. The information has already been made available.

As per Mike Johnson of PWInsider Elite, Kenny Omega was not present for the most recent string of IMPACT tapings and is instead expected to be filming something with Callis that will be inserted into the episode after the edit has been finalized. So, Twitter’s collective dreams of the Cleaner being flanked by the Good Brothers in an IMPACT ring are as of yet, undelivered.

According to Johnson,

"“Kenny Omega was not at the last set of IMPACT Wrestling tapings, they are done, they have filmed all their TV for the year. I was told that the plan is this coming week Don Callis and Kenny Omega will be filming something, I assume in Canada, I don’t know for sure, for IMPACT that will be inserted into the TV show.”"

So it seems that depending on the story the companies are looking to tell we won’t see Kenny Omega on IMPACT until at least 2021. That does not restrict IMPACT stars from appearing on AEW however as they are aired live every Wednesday on TNT.

It also seems that Kenny Omega is not the only AEW star who is excited to be shifting over to Tuesday nights as the AEW World Tag Team Champions, The Young Bucks posted on their Twitter a picture of themselves during their TNA run as Generation Me.
