Dexter Lumis vs. Cameron Grimes in a Strap Match

Result: Dexter Lumis beats Cameron Grimes with a submission

Grade: C+

What? He lost again? Okay.

Anybody else sick of this feud?

Lumis was cheered, Grimes was booed. Crowd sweetening, that’s how.

Grimes brought his own strap and hilariously bantered with the referee, saying it’s this strap or no strap, and I was waiting, the entire match, for them to make sense of this. Surely, the strap would be gimmicked to help Grimes pull off a cheeky win, right?

Grimes jumped Lumis, beat him down, the match didn’t even officially start.

Lumis made his comeback, got in the strap, and the bell was rung for the most boring match of this show.

Grimes tried to run away, but why he didn’t try to get out of the strap is beyond me.

There’s a lot of back and forth between the two, they’re getting slammed into the plexiglass and being thrown over barricades. The wrestling is fine, it’s just too long and too slow.

There was a whole lot of whipping. Literally, they were whipping each other throughout the entire match.

At one point, Grimes hit a nasty suplex onto the turnbuckle, Lumis tried to fight back but was stopped short. Grimes gets in a few chair shots.

the original strap was involved for some reason, Grimes repeatedly tried to cover Lumis’ eyes.

The match slogged on until Lumis finally tripped Grimes face-first into a chair, and then locked in his Anaconda Vise like submission for the tap out victory.

Cameron Grimes, that beautiful man, has lost every single match in this feud. Where does he go from here, where does Lumis go from here, I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
