SmackDown Women’s Title #1 Contender’s Match: Bianca Belair vs. Bayley

We’ve seen tensions continue to build between Bianca Belair and the former SmackDown Women’s Champion in recent weeks. If things are to come to a head at WWE TLC, then it feels only proper to raise the stakes between them and put a target on WWE Royal Rumble 2021.

By making this match for a title opportunity not just in the future, but at WWE Royal Rumble 2021, it significantly increases the motivation of each competitor. Walking out of the Royal Rumble as a champion often means you get to walk into WrestleMania as champion. While she may not secure the win at Royal Rumble, I think Belair will take the win here and step into a huge future title match with Banks.

Prediction: Bianca Belair

Six-Man Tag Team Chairs Match: King Corbin, Steve Cutler, and Wesley Blake vs. Rey Mysterio, Dominik Mysterio, and Murphy

Tossing chairs into the mix here just increases the chances of this being a chaotic mess, but that’s exactly what will make the match exciting. The issues between Corbin and the Mysterios (Murphy included now, I guess?) have been far from resolved, and now Corbin has evened the odds with the returning pair of Steve Cutler and Wesley Blake.

While it’s unlikely WWE will talk about it, there’s an interesting extra layer here as Wesley Blake and Murphy were a dominant tag team in the past and former NXT Tag Team Champions. Here they’d find themselves on opposing sides, and it’s likely the viciousness of Corbin’s trio would lead them to victory at WWE TLC.

Prediction: King Corbin, Steve Cutler, and Wesley Blake

Intercontinental Championship Match: Sami Zayn (c) vs. Daniel Bryan

This isn’t a match we haven’t seen before, as these two actually squared off back at WrestleMania 36. However, both Zayn and Bryan were out for large periods of time in the following months, and now it looks like this rivalry has been renewed.

While Big E also seems like a possible choice to challenge Zayn, this match allows Zayn another strong win while keeping Big E separate for a future run at Universal Champion Roman Reigns. There’s a chance Bryan could win, but Zayn retaining seems most likely.

Prediction: Sami Zayn is still the Intercontinental Champion
