7. Pat McAfee and Adam Cole steal the show

You didn’t really know what to expect when Pat McAfee began to feud with Adam Cole. However, I am sure nobody expected that the former NFL punter would step into the ring with one of the best in the game and absolutely tear down the house. Yet, that is exactly what he did when McAfee clashed with Adam Cole at NXT TakeOver XXX in a fantastic sixteen-minute match.

McAfee impressed in his debut match, unlike many others who have had their first match. People were concerned about McAfee having such a highly booked debut match against Adam Cole. Nobody truly expected Pat to be as good as he turned out to be. By the time that the match was over, I don’t believe one person watching wasn’t sold on Pat McAfee.

Pat put his body on the line and gave his dues in his match. He didn’t try and take an easy way out. He gave his all in this match and it really shows. Pat continued to impress in only his second match inside of WarGames against Cole and the Undisputed Era.

With only two matches under his belt, Pat could have a good in-ring run in front of him. McAfee is currently 33 years old but that is still younger than Diamond Dallas Page was when he started and look at his career.

6. Becky Lynch announces her pregnancy

The WWE Universe was shocked when after Money In The Bank, Becky Lynch revealed that the Raw Women’s Championship had actually been in the briefcase. Becky announced she vacated the championship and that Asuka was the new champion.

However, that was nothing to when she revealed the reason she had vacated the championship was that she was pregnant. Becky’s historic title reign came to an end at 373 days and stands as the longest reign as the Raw Women’s Champion.

As of December 7th, Becky and her fiance, Seth Rollins have happily welcomed their daughter, Roux into the world. We are all patiently waiting for both happy parents to return to the ring but we hope they take all the time in the world to be a family. When Seth and Becky do finally return to WWE, we expect big things from both of them.

They have never let us down in the past and I don’t see them doing so anytime soon. Both were on incredible runs before being written off weekly television. Although with talents like Rollins and Lynch, you know they will both be back on top before too long. We wish The Man, The Messiah, and Roux the best.
