3. The Undertaker retires

After one of the most interesting matches of his career at WrestleMania 36, the legendary Undertaker officially retired from the WWE at Survivor Series. Legendary superstars from the past and the present showed up to honor the career of The Undertaker. Even Vince McMahon himself showed up to honor a man who had become one of his best friends throughout the years.

It was a great moment for all the fans to be able to witness the earth-shattering entrance of The Deadman one more time. He entered the ring to officially announce his career was over out of his own mouth. When it comes to a man like The Undertaker, it is hard to believe that this could truly be the end of a legendary career.

We will all be waiting for the lightning to strike once again, but we may be waiting forever. If this is truly the end of The Undertaker’s career, his last match against AJ Styles will go down in history for multiple reasons. Like the Firefly Funhouse mentioned before, the Boneyard match between AJ Styles and The Undertaker was just as wild.

It allowed Undertaker to work slower and really shine. He showed parts of The Deadman and The American Badass to be mixed into one man named Mark Calloway. Now that his active career is over, we will enjoy hearing the untold stories of a man finally breaking character and his future work with WWE behind the scenes.

2. Drew McIntyre wins the WWE Championship

When Drew McIntyre first arrived in WWE, he was hand-selected by Vince McMahon as the future of the company. Despite being young and new to the company, you expected great things in the future of McIntyre. You expected him to be a future WWE Champion when he was truly shining as the Intercontinental Champion.

Then suddenly, things quit going so smoothly for Drew. He started to be caught up in the roster and soon found himself as a member of the Three Man Band. A man that was once hand-picked to be a success had found himself in a stable meant to produce laughs and put over the real stars like The Shield. Soon enough, Drew found himself out of the band and out of the company altogether.

That could have been the end of his WWE journey, but Drew had different plans in mind. He went on to dominate in other companies before WWE came calling his name once again. Drew returned to the company a changed man and has been dominating everybody in front of him ever since. However, many fans thought Drew met his match when he faced Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania.

Brock Lesnar was an unstoppable beast before he met Drew McIntyre. Drew went into WrestleMania and proved that the Royal Rumble, where he claymore kicked Lesnar out and won the match, wasn’t a fluke. He did what many couldn’t do and defeated “The Beast” on the grandest stage of them all to become the WWE Champion.

Drew’s thirteen-year journey from being chosen to becoming the champion is one of the best stories in wrestling history. It was a great moment for Drew and all of his fans. We only hate that the fans weren’t there to be able to share the moment.
