4. Montez Ford

It is not easy to stand-out, in a tag team, but it is hard to ignore how good Montez Ford has been in 2020.

The Street Profits are a Paul Heyman project – the former SmackDown General Manager is a big fan of Ford and his tag team partner Angelo Dawkins. When he was removed from his position as Executive Director of Raw – the duo could have fallen by the wayside, thankfully that is not the case.

Ford and Dawkins traded wins with Seth Rollins and Murphy at the beginning of the year – they successfully defended the Raw Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 36 against Austin Theory and Angel Garza, had an entertaining rivalry with Andrade and Garza throughout the summer, and gained a huge win over the New Day in a Champions Vs. Champions match at WWE Survivor Series last month.

Both men have impressed throughout 2020 – however, Ford is the more polished, athletic, and charismatic out of the two. When he talks, people are captivated by his presents – he has something special.

Ford can be a top act in WWE. When The Street Profits eventually go their separate ways, Ford should be pushed towards the top of the card – he could be Universal or WWE Champion one day.

This is not detracting from Dawkins. He is good, but Ford has proven this year that he is better. The pair will not split for a while. When they do, Ford will be ready to reach another level.

To paraphrase the name of his wife’s entrance theme – Watch Him Shine.
