2. Kenny Omega Debuts On Impact

It almost felt like you had walked into the Twilight Zone when Kenny Omega showed up on Impact Wrestling. The wrestling world was turned upside down on the night that Kenny Omega won the AEW World Championship. After using underhanded tactics to become champion, Kenny and Don Callis announced that they would be on Impact.

Impact’s ratings skyrocketed for the episode that Kenny Omega debuted on. While not much was done, an interview with the AEW World Champion on Impact television was enough to send shockwaves through the world. Now only a few weeks later, Kenny is scheduled to have his first match in the company at Hard To Kill.

Kenny Omega is on the run of his career at the moment and could very well be a big factor in Impact in 2021. It would be history if Kenny is able to possibly get his hands on the Impact World Championship. He showed up at the end of the year, but this moment turned the company upside down. For the first time in years, Kenny Omega has people watching.

1. Motor City Machine Guns Make An Impact

The Motor City Machine Guns made their shocking return at Slammiversary. When they did, they wasted no time proving themselves as the best tag team in the company. They arrived to answer The Rascalz open challenge and ended up with an Impact Tag Team Championship match. They defeated The Rascalz before confronting The North.

While The North claimed they were the best tag team in the world, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin had a different opinion. Less than a week after they returned, the Machine Guns defeated The North to become the new Impact Tag Team Champions, ending the record-breaking 380-day reign of The North.

They would later lose the titles back to The North in a fatal four-way tag team match. However, Shelley and Sabin are still going strong in Impact Wrestling. They are currently scheduled to take place in what is set to become a historic six-man tag team match. They will team with Impact World Champion Rich Swann to face The Good Brothers and Kenny Omega.

This will be the first-ever match for Kenny Omega in Impact Wrestling and you can expect ratings to be high for this one. With more eyes than usual on them, I expect the Motor City Machine Guns to show why they are the dream match for The Young Bucks and FTR.
