Before Kevin Owens battled Roman Reigns, he made sure that he got rid of Jey Uso to prevent any unnecessary distractions. He ‘broke’ Jey Uso’s ankle with a steel chair and Jey Uso was taken to the back to be checked on. Owens then focused on Reigns, who did not let Owens get the upper hand in this bout. Reigns delivered plenty ladder shots to Owens in this match. Owens rallied back with a Fisherman’s Suplex to Reigns through a steel chair.

Owens got distracted by Jey Uso out of nowhere, allowing Reigns to capitalize with a Superman Punch. However, Owens rallied back by delivering a SuperKick to Jey Uso and a Stunner to Reigns. Owens delivered a Pop Up Powerbomb to Uso through the table. Reigns delivered a Powerbomb to Owens through a ladder. Reigns then delivered a Chokeslam to Owens through a table. He continued to decimate Owens by delivering a Samoan Drop to Owens through a table.

Reigns finally ascended the ladder to retrieve the Universal Championship but Owens grabbed Reigns’ leg, stopping him in his tracks. Reigns got frustrated and Speared Owens through the table. Owens rallied back by delivering a Pop Up Powerbomb to Reigns through the table. Owens then delivered a Stunner to Jey Uso. However, Reigns locked the Guillotine to Owens on top of the ladder and retrieves the Universal Championship for the victory. Best match of the night.
