6. Sasha Banks vs. Bayley: Hell in a Cell Match (Hell in a Cell)

Leave it to two of the best women’s wrestlers in the world to churn out a quality match. Sasha Banks and Bayley are the Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano of the main roster: Fantastic allies, but even better when they lock horns. With the good guy/bad guy dynamic flipped from their prior clashes in NXT, with Bayley betraying her “best friend” this time around, we saw the chemistry and story of half the WWE Horsewomen on full display during their Hell in a Cell match.

You could argue that this was the feud that deserved to main event a WrestleMania, a testament to the two stars involved and the story behind them.

This match had it all, from amazing spots to in-ring storytelling. Banks and Bayley left nothing undone as they maimed each other from start to finish. This bout deserved a sold-out arena backing it, as every spot felt deliberate and emotional as the story played out, with Banks after revenge and Bayley out to prove she doesn’t need “The Boss” anymore.

Bayley was also a very hateable heel, which made it feel even more satisfying when Banks got her hands on her, and it made for good watching and investment as either came close to winning the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
