WWE Raw Predictions: Braun Strowman Will Replace Goldberg

4.) Asuka & Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Lacey Evans & Peyton Royce [Women’s Tag Team Championships]
On WWE Raw Legends Night, Lacey Evans and Peyton Royce defeated Asuka and Charlotte Flair in a non-title match after a ‘dirty’ distraction from Ric Flair. According to the WWE Rulebook, Evans and Royce have already earned a tag team championship opportunity against Asuka and Charlotte after that non-title victory. If this championship match is not scheduled for the Royal Rumble PPV this Sunday, it could very well happen on this episode instead.
Evans has been using Ric Flair to play mind games with Charlotte week after week. Now is the time for the styling, profiling, kiss stealing, wheeling dealing, jet-flying, limousine riding, son of a gun to come to his senses, ‘play’ Evans, realign himself with his daughter, and assist her in retaining the Women’s Tag Team Titles. This entire story was based on Ric Flair’s paternal loyalty, so it’s only fitting that he is the significant ‘swerve’ factor in the result of this match.
After the match, Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax, who declared themselves for the Royal Rumble but have not yet laid their eyes off the Women’s Tag Team Titles, will attack Asuka and Charlotte after the match to set up a TLC championship rematch at the Rumble. Although there is no clear predilection for either makeshift team, it would make more sense for Baszler and Jax to win back the tag titles at the Rumble while Charlotte directs her attention to Asuka’s Raw Women’s Title.

3.) Hurt Business (c) vs. Lucha House Party [Raw Tag Team Championships]
On WWE Raw Legends Night, Lucha House Party defeated Hurt Business in a non-title match after Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin were not on the same page. According to the WWE Rulebook, Lucha House Party has already earned a tag team championship opportunity against Alexander and Benjamin after that non-title victory. If this championship match is not scheduled for the Royal Rumble PPV this Sunday, it could very well happen on this episode instead.
On last week’s WWE Raw, there continued to be dissension in the Hurt Business even after their victory over Riddle and Lucha House Party. This dissension will cost Alexander and Benjamin the Raw Tag Team Championships against Lucha House Party. Once they have realized their mistake, Alexander and Benjamin will get their championship rematch at the Royal Rumble PPV, re-strategize, and get back on the same page to win the back the Raw Tag Team Championships.
Many fans were apprehensive about Hurt Business showing cracks in their faction so early. However, this temporary dissension could ironically strengthen the bond among these men, helping them to establish a more formidable stable. They will soon realize that they have to be on the same page in order to succeed, rather than selfishly trying to outshine each other, like Alexander has been doing ever since he and Benjamin won the belts.
