WWE WrestleMania 37: Post-Royal Rumble full match card predictions
United States Championship Triple Threat Match: Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Mustafa Ali vs. Ricochet
As we now move forward to WrestleMania 37 Night Two, we may see things open up with the culmination of a few rivalries that have been bubbling for months. Ever since RETRIBUTION started to make their presence felt with Mustafa Ali at the helm, we’ve seen that leader target Ricochet for recruitment.
Meanwhile, there has been plenty of tensions between RETRIBUTION and The Hurt Business in recent months. Those two things could come together on the Road to WrestleMania and set up a great potential match between three talented competitors.
This match could go several ways, perhaps the most shocking being Ricochet finally succumbing to Ali’s pressure and choosing to join RETRIBUTION by helping Mustafa Ali defeat Bobby Lashley and capture the United States Championship. Then again, Ricochet could continue to go it alone and capture his own bit of gold, unless The Hurt Business has something to say about it.
Loser Leaves SmackDown: Kevin Owens vs. Jey Uso
The issues between Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens actually go back several years, but their most recent chapter has built and built over the last few months. They once again squared off at the Royal Rumble in a Last Man Standing Match, and Kevin Owens came as close as could be to leaving as the new Universal Champion.
In reality, Owens had Reigns down for the count more than once, but The Tribal Chief made sure the referee could complete that count. If we see Jey Uso continuing to cost Owens as he has in the past in future title matches, we might see KO turn his focus away from Reigns and instead to getting Jey Uso away from SmackDown.
This would be a great moment for Jey Uso as a first singles match on the stage of WrestleMania 37, and it would add intriguing stakes to a rivalry that may continue in a new former if Owens can banish Uso to WWE Raw. Of course, if Jey Uso takes the win it would likely be the biggest victory of his career while sending Owens back to a very different WWE Raw than he left.
