NXT Championship Match: Finn Balor (c) vs. Edge

I’m betting this isn’t the match you expected to see Edge in, but hear me out. When the opportunity finally arose for Edge to return to WWE, he wanted to do so in order to close out his career on his own terms. Hopefully, that’s not until a year or two down the road.

On top of that, anyone who watched his documentary on the WWE Network following his return will have noticed Edge’s desire to uplift today’s current crop of stars. He’s a legend, but he’s a legend who wants to leverage that status to make stars for the future of WWE when he’s no longer there and has ridden off into the sunset for good.

There may be no better way to do that than to target NXT Champion Finn Balor. The NXT brand didn’t even exist when Edge retired due to injury, which makes this a prize he’s never even gotten close to capturing. This would also put NXT on equal footing with Raw and SmackDown in a way that nothing has ever come close to doing in the past, and deliver a true dream match at the same time.

WrestleMania 37 Night Two Main Event for the Universal Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Big E

Finally, we reach the conclusion of Night Two and the final main event of WrestleMania 37. It’s probably not a surprise to anyone that “The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns would end up main eventing the second night to defend the Universal Championship he’s done literally anything in his power to keep hold of.

However, the thing that makes this match truly special would be the moment it could become for Big E. While a former NXT Champion and even the current Intercontinental Champion, Big E has never climbed the mountain of becoming WWE Champion or Universal Champion. Two years ago, he got to support Kofi Kingston as one member of The New Day made that a reality for the faction.

Now, it’s Big E’s turn. The most likely way for the match to become a reality would be through Elimination Chamber 2021, where a match could easily take place to determine Roman Reigns’ challenger at WrestleMania. With a huge win in that environment, we just might be close to seeing Big E close out WrestleMania 37 with a career-making once-in-a-lifetime moment by toppling “The Tribal Chief” to become the new Universal Champion.
