7. Naomi

After months of being inactive, Naomi finally made her return at the Royal Rumble. Starting off the match at entry number two, opposite Bayley, Naomi finished with the second-longest time in the match, just behind the eventual winner Bianca Belair. Unfortunately, despite spending nearly fifty minutes in the match, Naomi didn’t get any eliminations.

However, Naomi did have her annual Royal Rumble spot to save herself from elimination. This year was one of the more innovative ways that Naomi has come up with, using Bianca Belair’s hair to pull herself back to the ring. Once she got her feet back into the ring, she worked with Belair to pull each other back into the ring.

Naomi would go on until she found herself in the path of the Women’s Tag Team Champions, Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax. The pair eliminated her from the match, but Naomi made her mark on the Rumble and let everyone know that she was back. As of the moment, Naomi earned the opportunity to get some payback. She will team with Lana to face the team for the tag titles.

6. Seth Rollins

After being advertised to return on SmackDown a few weeks ago, Seth Rollins was nowhere to be found at the time. Nothing else was said about why Rollins didn’t appear. That led to fan speculation that Seth’s return was being saved for a different time. The thought on everybody’s mind would come true as Seth Rollins arrived in the Rumble at number twenty-nine.

After sacrificing himself for the greater good at last November’s Survivor Series, “The Messiah” has risen. Rollins is no stranger to the Royal Rumble match, taking part in five Rumbles since his 2012 main roster debut, including the 2019 Royal Rumble, where Rollins lasted forty-three minutes on his way to victory. For a moment, it looked like he was going to do it once again.

Rollins tallied four eliminations in nearly nine minutes of Rumble time, including Braun Strowman and Christian simultaneously. He then looked to finish off Edge with a curb stomp. Unfortunately for Rollins, Edge moved out of harm’s way and sent the former WWE Champion over the top rope. Despite coming up short in another Rumble match, you can expect Rollins to continue to do great things on the path of the “greater good.”
