WWE Royal Rumble 2021: Top Ten Surprise Entrants

Last year, it was his best friend Edge who had the most shocking return. This year, Christian rightfully got his moment to shine. It is moments like this that really makes you miss hearing the crowd pop. You know the roof would have been blown off of the arena for the return of Captain Charisma. It was a beautifully done return when Christian’s music hit as entrant 24.

The best returns are the ones that shock everyone involved. When Christian made his way out onto the stage, everyone in the match took notice, which made the moment even better. Bobby Lashley motioned for him to bring it on while Riddle’s jaw fell to the floor. However, the best reaction came from his best friend, Edge.

After spending over a half hour alone, his smile was genuine to see his former tag partner coming to his aid. Christian fought valiantly to the very end. He was one of the last four participants in the match after the elimination of Braun Strowman. However, he was out only seconds after Strowman hit the floor.

Despite coming up short, the image of Edge and Christian standing across the ring from Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman is one that will go down in history. Hard to imagine both were former tag team champion pairings.
