WWE Elimination Chamber 2021: Full match card predictions
WWE Elimination Chamber 2021 is less than two weeks away, and we finally got to see WWE starting to build up the event this week on WWE Raw. Things started with a bang as Shane McMahon returned to announce an Elimination Chamber Match where Drew McIntyre will have to defend his WWE Championship.
We saw two other matches get confirmed later in the night, but that leaves plenty of room for the Elimination Chamber card to grow. Looking back at the past four Elimination Chamber pay-per-views, we’ve seen between five and seven main card matches with one on the Kickoff Show.
We’ve also seen a standard get set as each of those events had exactly two Elimination Chamber matches on the final card. With one already announced for this year’s version of the event, that should mean there’s one left to be revealed.
With WWE Elimination Chamber 2021 just one week from Sunday, could this full match card prediction become a reality for what we’ll see on the Road to WrestleMania 37?
As mentioned above, there were two other matches confirmed for this event during WWE Raw. Asuka is set to defend the Raw Women’s Championship against Lacey Evans, and Bobby Lashley is set to defend his United States Championship against Matt Riddle and Keith Lee in a Triple Threat Match.
We should get more matches this Friday on SmackDown, but what exactly could get added to the mix? Sasha Banks is sure to be defending her SmackDown Women’s Championship, but against who?
With Bianca Belair and Edge still yet to make their decisions, and that looking unlikely to happen before Elimination Chamber, it’s unlikely any of this year’s matches will lead to a title shot at WrestleMania as they have in years past. Instead, both matches inside the structure will likely have a championship on the line.
Of course, it’s also important to remember that we still have WWE Fastlane 2021 filling a gap between this event and WrestleMania 37. With all of that in mind, here’s a look at how this year’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view might turn out.
