WWE Raw Predictions: Alexa Bliss Will Entrancingly Haunt Rhea Ripley
By Mark Justice
2.) Rhea Ripley vs. Charlotte Flair [Grudge Match]
Rhea Ripley should debut on the main roster in a match against Charlotte Flair. She was robbed of the NXT Women’s Championship at last year’s WrestleMania needs a definitive victory over “The Queen” to redeem her momentum. She’s already restored some of it by eliminating Flair in the Royal Rumble match this past January. However, the elimination was not as impactful since she received help from Bianca Belair to do so and did not win the Rumble afterward.
Ever since the Royal Rumble, the fans have been awaiting Ripley’s debut on the main roster. The fans also want to know which brand she will end up on. Should she end up on Raw, Ripley already has a grudge with Flair and also eliminated Alexa Bliss from the Royal Rumble, giving her enough feuds to provide a smooth transition to the red brand. After Ripley defeats Charlotte, Bliss can attack Ripley after the match as revenge for eliminating her so quickly in the Rumble.
Prediction: Rhea Ripley
1.) Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Sheamus [WWE Championship]
Assuming Drew McIntyre retains the WWE Championship inside the Elimination Chamber, he should battle Sheamus in a one-on-one championship match. It seemed as if WWE was going in that direction at the Elimination Chamber. However, it turned into an Elimination Chamber match with four other contestants, probably because Sheamus is not a draw and WWE did not want to main event the show with that match.
Nonetheless, the story between McIntyre and Sheamus has been interesting and should be played out at some point. Many fans expect this match to happen at WrestleMania, which is a good joke since the WWE is quite egregious with long-term storytelling. McIntyre will finish his feud with Sheamus on this episode by retaining the WWE Championship in what should be a great match and get attacked by Braun Strowman after the match.
Strowman wanted to be in that WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match and was suspended by Adam Pearce before he could get his title opportunity. He is owed an opportunity after being one of the sole survivors at Survivor Series. However, Adam Pearce continues to screw him due to rules and technicalities. Now that he is back, Strowman will take matters into his own hands and make a statement to McIntyre to tease a future title match. Stay tuned.
