WWE WrestleMania 37 Night 1 Full Match Card Predictions

Sasha Banks (c) vs. Bianca Belair [SmackDown Women’s Championship]
Since Bianca Belair won the Royal Rumble, she should be in the main event of WrestleMania against whichever champion she selects. As can be substantiated by recent interactions with Sasha Banks, it has become clear that Belair will select “The Boss” as her WrestleMania opponent. It is a dream match in the making between two top babyfaces who want to be the best. The story speaks for itself, but the WWE will turn one of them heel to avoid a babyface vs. babyface feud.
Banks is the more likely superstar to turn heel and transition that turn into her first big victory at WrestleMania. After dethroning the longest-reigning SmackDown Women’s Champion in history, Banks must win this match to maintain the prestige of the title and prove that she is a formidable champion who can retain her belt on a consistent basis. Thus far, she has only retained her title against Bayley and Carmella. Her reign can’t end now.
Before beating Bayley, Banks was infamous for her notorious record of unsuccessfully retaining any championship she wins. Now that she is the biggest draw in the women’s division and has the star-power of Sirius A, it would be nonsensical to stop her momentum at the most important stage on the WWE calendar. Banks needs to deliver in this high-pressure situation and give Belair the rub at Mania while still going over as “The Standard” to close out night one of WrestleMania 37.

The debate as to who should win between these two superstars has gotten heated and will continue to be until the match happens. Although this is Belair’s first Mania match in the wake of her historic Rumble win, her momentum would not suffer from losing this match. Banks needs to be booked as “The Standard”, and Belair should not defeat her on her first try. Just like Belair did in her feud with Bayley, she can always win the rematch with Banks later down the line. However, WrestleMania 37 is “Boss Time”.
