WWE SmackDown Predictions: Daniel Bryan Will Embrace The Cage

4.) Ruby Riott (w/Liv Morgan) vs. Natalya (w/Tamina) [Grudge Match]
On last week’s WWE SmackDown, Tamina defeated Liv Morgan after the usual distraction from Billie Kay. It would now make sense for their tag team partners to go at it in the ring. The same will happen this week: Natalya will defeat Ruby Riott after the usual distraction from Billie Kay. This story has dragged on long enough. There are only two tag teams in the SmackDown Women’s Division, and this feud is not doing either of them any favors.
There should be more tag teams in this division, especially since no one else but Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair will be in the SmackDown Women’s Title Picture. Bayley and Carmella are both heels and could reunite as Baymella. Once Chelsea Green returns, she can team up with Billie Kay. Green’s spot on the Survivor Series team was taken away from Liv Morgan after she got injured, so she can use that factoid to her advantage in helping Kay ruin Riott Squad’s momentum.

3.) Mysterios vs. King Corbin & Sami Zayn [Tag Match]
On last week’s WWE SmackDown, Street Profits defeated King Corbin and Sami Zayn while Alpha Academy defeated Mysterios. It would make sense for the losers of these matches to battle in a tag team match, especially since Corbin and Zayn have been directly feuding with the Mysterios. Mysterios will win to get a win back from when they lost to Corbin and Zayn in their Elimination Chamber Qualification tag team match on the February 12, 2021 episode of WWE SmackDown.
Sami Zayn himself said that his current gimmick is his best work in WWE to date. The conspiracy theorist has truly been a highlight on Friday Nights, turning his losses into conspiracies that enhance his character development. Meanwhile, his tag team partner, King Corbin, needs a gimmick change as soon as possible because he is as boring as plywood sold at Home Depot. The King of the Ring Tournament should be an annual or biennial event to keep things fresh.
