WWE WrestleMania 37: Predicting the winner of every announced match
Night Two: WrestleMania 37 Main Event – Universal Championship Triple Threat Match: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Edge vs. Daniel Bryan
It all comes down to this. WrestleMania 37. Main Event. Night Two. Triple Threat. Universal Championship on the line. Roman Reigns, Edge, and Daniel Bryan in the ring together.
Even with a few hiccups, this is undeniably the most well-crafted rivalry in WWE today and on the road to WrestleMania 37. That’s even with the knowledge that WWE has shockingly failed to bring up the most important part of this match.
Edge, Roman Reigns, and Daniel Bryan are all competitors who have had their careers snatched away from them due to injury or illness. All three of them have beaten the odds in miraculous ways to find the path to WrestleMania 37.
This has the potential to be the best triple threat match in WrestleMania history, and that remains true regardless of who actually emerges victorious. While any outcome feels believable, my prediction goes to Edge.
Roman Reigns managing to retain would be powerful for his character, but losing without being defeated seems like the only way to shake up the title picture and somehow force Reigns to become even more dangerous than he already is.
As for Edge, it’s time to become the Ultimate Opportunist once again. In a match with no disqualifications, a well-placed conchairto to Daniel Bryan can seal the deal and help him become the new Universal Champion without having to pin Roman Reigns.
Prediction: Edge is the new Universal Champion
